Whelp, here's the crown jewel, most difficult and probably our most favorite of the projects... Groom Lake! In our opinions this will probably be the very best Groom Lake scenery ever made for Flight Sim. The base is completely custom, each building is hand crafted using what little photos, we can find, and peoples memories, as will most of the stuff we do. Just remember, we are nowhere near finished, and still have a lot of buildings to make. Building numbers and descriptions were taken from Dreamland Resort, and the Area 51 Research Center map.

I guess we shall start with photos from the beginning of the project. The first basic layout and building, Hangar 18, were done by Jason Terry of ARX, then tweaked and temp. buildings, ramps etc added by Joshua Nyhus of ED.

Tweaked version with temp. buildings.

Here we have the Red Hat hangars. These little beauties were made by Jason Terry. Each Red Hat is different in some way, just like they are in real life.

Next up we have the U-2 Hangars, Shops and other little buildings on the north side of the base which were left over from the 50s from the very first project based at Groom Lake. These were made by Joshua Nyhus.

Lastly we have a few little things left to show.

And that's where we stand, like I said above, we still have a lot to do, but it's getting there!
