The Tonopah Test Range, an Air Force munitions range and research and
development site, is located north of the Nevada Test Site
approximately 150 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. The
Tonopah Test Range comprises 624 square miles and is also
surrounded on three sides by the Nellis Air Force Range and
to the north by Bureau of Land Management open range.
Our main focus of this area is the Tonopah Test Range
Airfield (KTNX). We will however do other things in the TTR,
so expect more than just an airport.
